Jacques Copinet Cuvee Marie Etienne
In the midst of the Marne Valley, in the miniscule village of Montgenost, is the estate of Jacques and Brigette Copinet. It is no coincidence Moet & Chandon has a warehouse in Montgenost, this village is an excellent source of fine Chardonnay.
Jacques Copinet Champagne NV is always a blend of three vintages, and the result is a wine of sheer excellence. Along with the assistance of their daughter Marie Laure, this family estate is the source of very fine Champagne. In 1975, Jacques and Brigette struck out on their own and began to bottle their own production. Harvested by hand from their own vines, with their own hands, from their own land. Champagne is bottled and matures in the frigid chalk cellars beneath the family home.
Medium yellowish/golden color. Very fine mousse. Open, complex nose features pears, nuts and honey. Impressivey fresh fruit salad palate of dried pineapple, brioche and white butter.
