2010 Alamos Chardonnay

alamos chardAlamos Chardonnay 2010 shows a straw-yellow color with light shades of green. The nose offers ripe tropical fruit aromas with citrus and floral notes. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with concentrated ripe pear and fig fruit mingled with vanilla and sweet spice oak flavors. The finish is clean and fresh with bright, crisp acidity.

FERMENTATION: Selected yeast. Pressing at a maximum pressure of 2 kg. Must is cold-settled and racked fresh from the press. 70% malolactic fermentation. 28 day fermentation. Average fermentation temperature: 14º C

AGING: 6-9 months in French and American oak. Extended lees contact with regular battonageg

ALCOHOL: 13,5% vol

TOTAL ACIDITY/PH: 5.8/3.3

RESIDUAL SUGAR: 3.2 g/l
